Q: HOW LONG ARE YOUR TURNAROUND TIMES?
A: Portrait sessions will be returned in 2 weeks. Wedding sneaks (~50 highlight photos from throughout the day) will be delivered within 3 days of your wedding and the full gallery will be sent 8 weeks from your wedding date. Expedited 1-week gallery delivery is also an available add-on. Your full gallery will be returned within 1 week of the event if added before the wedding or the time of purchase.
Q: DO I HAVE TO GET PRINTS FROM YOU?
A: It’s not required, but it guarantees the best quality and longevity. They are a little more expensive, but I work closely with professional labs to make sure that you receive the best and most true-to-color products that you can.
Q: I’M A LITTLE AWKWARD/CAMERA SHY…
A: My biggest goal is to make you feel calm and comfortable during our time together. I make sure to spend a lot of time getting to know you and your relationship, so once it’s time to get in front of the camera we aren’t complete strangers. I strongly believe the better we know each other before you get in front of the camera, the better the final results of our sessions together!
Q: ARE THERE TRAVEL FEES ASSOCIATED WITH DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
A: Travel along the East Coast is always fully included in all wedding packages. Destination weddings may have associated travel fees that will be discussed fully during our discovery call.
Q: DO YOU OFFER VIDEO?
A: Key moment recordings are available for weddings with 2 or more photographers. These will be full length recordings of the key moments (ceremony, dances, speeches, first looks) with professional color grading and premium audio. We do not offer full day wedding features, highlight videos, or instagram trailers, but we have plenty of great recommendations on those who do!
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE FROM MY WEDDING?
A: Every wedding is different, so the number of photos you will receive can vary. Weddings with more details and elements will produce more photos. Weddings with more time set aside specifically for photos will produce more photos. Lots of dancing at the reception usually yields more photos. Time taken away for travel between different locations will usually lower the average.
I always aim for quality over quantity to make sure I can provide you with the most beautiful gallery possible. I would say on average, there are 50-75 pictures per hour of wedding day coverage with one photographer. 75-100 with two.
Q: I *REALLY* WANT TO WORK WITH YOU, BUT YOU ARE OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE.
A: Please contact me anyway! We’ve all been there; I sure know I have been. I genuinely believe that everyone deserves to have quality pictures of such an important day. I try to be fair in my pricing, but there are bottom lines to be met.
That being said, there are a few factors that may apply to your day where I will consider negotiations on price. These may include but are not strictly limited to:
Your wedding is being held on a non-weekend
Your wedding is during a slower season. (January-March and June-August)
Your date is ~3 months or less away
Travel discounts available if we will already be traveling to your area at the time of your wedding or session
Your location or venue is on my Bucket List
Q: PAYMENT PLANS?
A: Yes absolutely! All wedding bookings require a $1000 non-refundable deposit due when signing your contract to book the date. The remainder is broken into equal monthly payments until the month before your wedding. This is usually charged on the 5th of the month, but this day can be flexible. Custom plans can be made depending on your needs.
